Radio Radio Canada Radio Radio in operation since 1972, DJ MARY FLAVORS is the Owner and operator of Radio Radio Canada Dj Mary Flavors has been djing since 1985! or both!

Her djing started at the Banke nightclub for a number of years ,later on she played at BBX, the Warehouse (One of the FIRST doing 80's retro parties in 1991 and worked in the underground playing some hardcore) ,the parkside ,mescaleros and others. Her passion for music led her to dj with her partner at the time, Oliver Friedman, in 1985 on CJWS, a program which ran Saturday nights called "up for

clubbing" . Oliver started up the REPUBLIC nightclub with others. Djing became her life and in 1985 she began working with other dj's and produced smaller private parties. She has been producing events and art happenings since then. Has worked with .artists like Sheri_D Wilson, Kris Demeanor,One Yellow Rabbit , The Banff Center, ACAD and many others. She is an artist and her music reflects all that she does. She is currently the owner/operator of Radio Radio ,which she began in 1986. LIKING Dj Mary Flavors and radio radio means just that, you love DJMF and Radio Radio!or one! and most of all YOU LOVE MUSIC! DJ Mary Flavors continues in the music scene! For those of you and Calgary that remember this club called The Banke. I first started to DJ there in 1987, then at that point I was hooked in the world of DJs, it was a very male dominated industry back then it pretty much still is in a sense, but it’s nice to see a lot of female DJs coming out of the woodwork, we need more of you, anyway enjoy these photos. Let me know if you remember this place… and let me know what kind of fun times you’ve had!
