With two screens and a lot of splicing and dicing, Michael from Tremain Media seemed to put it all together effortlessly, even though editing requires heavy focus and skill.

The video will focus on 'who we are': what it is Uu-a-thluk does, who we do it for and why our work matters.

Filmed in Ditidaht First Nation ha-houlthee, it's our second video with the Tremain team, who do a great job of telling our story.

With her business needs growing as quickly as her patient list, Lisa Marie Gruger, MA, Registered Clinical Counsellor found herself without the time to take on a new so we went into workshop mode and helped move her through the content and style. Finally we were ready to build. This site is the result. Yes, we love to do the technical work - but when we can help take the stress off of our client in that process well that makes us, and our clients, happy.

Before the global pandemic began @walcanseafoods primarily sold their products overseas. When this was no longer available they pivoted and started offering home delivery options to #QuadraIsland and #CampbellRiver. It was a full #TeamTremain effort, everyone brainstormed new names. Several design mockups were produced, pieces of each were chosen and transformed, and the @TidetoTableBC brand was born in a matter of weeks. Since then, @TidetoTableBC has expanded its delivery regions to include all Vancouver Island south of Campbell River, and now offers mainland delivery to White Rock, Surrey, and Delta! What do we love about working with the Port of Nanaimo? It's fascinating! Here we recorded the unloading of steel at the Duke Point facility. This steel is break-bulk rebar, meaning it is not transported in containers, nor is it transported in bulk quantities (as grain or salt is) Thanks to Arrowsmith Aerial Photography again for your great work. We love partnering with you on these projects.

Tremain Media: Our Story

Tremain Media started as an educational film company, creating videos in the areas of literacy, numeracy, play-based learning, and educational theory. We sold 68,000 DVD’s; our products were in every public library in British Columbia as well as homes, schools and libraries across North America. That was when DVD’s were a thing. So what happened?

YouTube happened. And the educational media market changed forever. We then began creating videos for other organizations and companies. That was fine, until the 2008 recession hit. Combined with YouTube’s disruptive influence, video was suddenly turned on it’s head - and it killed ALL of the video competitors in our home-base city of Campbell River. There were 7 video companies - then there was only us. Tremain Media got lean and we stayed alive by diversifying our media offerings.

Today, Tremain Media is a full service media and marketing company specializing in video, web, print, social media marketing, digital marketing and time-lapse services. Back in 2010 it was a big deal to us that our commercials aired on NBC-Universal, Versus and and NBC Sports. Now, writing this in 2018, it still feels good - but it’s no longer our main thing. Now we are proud to provide multi-faceted digital offerings that help our clients succeed.

We work strategically with each individual client to develop the right marketing plan for them. Some clients let us go deep and get to the roots of who they are through thorough market research. We can then create a marketing plan that drastically increases their customer reach. We build the assets (videos, a website, social media accounts) and put them together to create campaigns that bring results. Measurable, profitable results.
