JULS - Journal of Undergraduate Life Sciences JULS is the premier undergraduate peer-reviewed journal at the UofT and McMasterU.

The University of Toronto Journal of Undergraduate Life Sciences (JULS) was established in the summer of 2006 to serve as a platform for undergraduates in the life sciences to communicate their research findings. JULS seeks to publish original research papers, review articles, news briefs and interviews drawn from a wide range of life science disciplines. Research and review articles are edited by

a peer and faculty review process for annual publication in both print and electronic formats. This year, JULS is also working hard to bring current events in the world of science closer to you. Our Mission

• To provide an opportunity for undergraduate students to publish their research findings in a peer-reviewed academic journal

• To engage the undergraduate life sciences community to actively participate in the academic research process

• To promote an interest in the Life Sciences

• To encourage participation in intellectual activity beyond the classroom environment

• To enhance interdisciplinary knowledge and communication across the Life Science disciplines
