Universal human rights, the Ba*****ed Ladies, poutine. But one of the country's greatest exports, at least in my opinion, is its people. And I'm not talking about obnoxious backpackers with Canadian flags sewn to their gear who insist that they aren't American. I'm talking about the kind of Canadian who decides to leave the country to do work in another place — and with any luck, they learn a lot

about other cultures. And the bring the very best back with them. Maybe

The Expats is both a celebration and examination of the lives of Canadians living abroad.At least for now. It's very possible the Expats will grow into something that celebrates all the wonders and strangeness of cross pollination between countries and cultures.
