After 9 years and 140 episodes the Age of Darkness has reviewed the whole main series of the Black Library Horus Heresy series! Now it's to decide which were the best and which were the worst! In our next episode we'll start our global review, and WE NEED YOUR HELP! Please click on the link below and rank the novels on a scale of 10 (exceptional) to 1 (execrable)! Along with the hosts' scores, this will allow us to create an absolutely scientific and definitive ranking of the series (well not really but it'll be fun)

Please give every book a 1 to 10 rating, 10 being the best and 1 being the worst. You can give multiple 10s and 1s, but try to keep those for exceptionally good or execrable books. This list doesn't include most anthologies, although those that are a coherent theme are included (e. g. Mark of Calth)...

Hello everyone,
Firstly, apologies for it being so quiet around here since the drop of the last Siege of Terra special.

We just want to confirm that we have not stopped the podcast and fully intend to record more episodes very soon as well as returning to the usual hobby challenge.

In real- life, both JP and myself have been dealing with wider challenges. JP is in the final stages of wrestling with his Ph.D and is preparing for submission which I’m sure you’ll all understand takes a considerable time.

As for myself, I have been dealing with personal health issues which have taken up a lot of energy and head-space.

However, for both of us, we are either at the end that path or close to finishing that journey so we will be returning to our usual service very soon. We have lots planned with multiple systems to discuss and our usual novel deep-dives. Who knows, we may even feedback on some games!

It’s been a long month. Let’s brighten it up with sharing of some new projects. Quite a lot of Legions Imperialis seems to be happening as well as people working on new armies (as is the tradition for this time of year). Well this is it! We did it! This is our last Tales of Heresy episode about the main Black Library Horus Heresy series! Fifty-four books and at least 150 hours later, we've completed the project and it only took eight years! That's right in this episode we conclude our analysis of The Buried Dagger, but before that we conclude another series about the Imperialis Militia by finally seeing what our listeners have been up to! Never forget: Power armour is for posers!
