Founded in 1999, Sigaw ng Bayan is the longest running Filipino radio show in Montreal, airing on Fridays from 2pm to 3pm at CKUT 90.3 FM on the radio dial. Listeners and followers can also catch the show live online via CKUT's website (http://ckut.ca). tice movements within the Filipino community of Montreal and around the city. Volunteers from the Sigaw ng Bayan Radio Collective run the weekly program. The collective, with its desire to expand its scope and number of participants, aims to:
(a) do more research within the Filipino community in Montreal. We recognize the need to learn more about pressing issues that the most marginalized in our already marginalized community face. (b) steer more discussions within the collective and with the community to further our collective understanding on calibrating our way of representing the Filipino community.
