Previously, spearheading the band Random Order, Lynx often wrote songs about risque relationships gone sour. While progressing in the love department, they know full well that this one is destined to end with a big ole crash. But still, an interest has been piqued and they'll give themselves the license to do just that.

All with tongue firmly planted in cheek this fun in the sun song will bring a smile to your face as you can relate, while going down memory lane recounting those tempestuous, heated, turbulent times in your life.

Lynx is a Toronto based Nova Scotian ART POP musician who works with Sony signed, Platinum award winning producer – Milan's - Giampaolo Pasquile. The result of this joint effort is hot summer vibes wrapped up with an edgy, rejuvenated, pop flavour.

Lynx was nominated “Best Musician” in Toronto's 2022 Village Awards.

From an early age, a love of music and singing has always been a vital part of Louise Yard's life. She has performed classical music professionally since childhood in concerts, TV appearances, and ceremonies in Quebec and Eastern Canada.

Her ears were trained to Opera at home even before She studied privately and at McGill and Concordia Universities. She was fortunate to meet and study with the wonderful world-renowned Opera singer Huguette Tourangeau and her husband Barry Thompson who was the Managing Director of the Vancouver and Edmonton Opera, who taught her the golden rules of Bel Canto singing.

As she was learning this incredible Bel Canto technique she started to teach and found her niche – singing as well as teaching. She has been performing and teaching singers, actors and public speakers of all ages with this remarkable method for over twenty years. Her studio 'belcantovoicestrudio' is located in Montreal although she also offers vocal guidance through skype.

The five songs on 'Les Chemins de l'Amour' (Ways Of Love) EP were recorded with master accompanist pianist Pierre McLean at Oscar Peterson Hall in Montreal. Louise Yard's vocal performance is beautiful, sincere and elevating.

Classically trained, piano playing began around the age of 3. Larry learned to read notes before words. The Cello came much later at the ripe old age of 7. Musical influence began with his grandfather a classical conductor in New York, followed by (alphabetically) Bach, the Beatles, Chic Correa, Chopin, Billy Joel, Elton John, George Gershwin, Oscar Peterson, Rick Wakeman, just to name a few. Primarily a rock and roller in the late 70’s, doing sessions in the studio throughout the 80’s. Credits include keyboard, co-producing, arranging work on RCA, BMG, Columbia, and several independent labels in South Florida up to the early 90’s. Finally acquiring the resources and time to build a home studio, and the result was The Kitchen Table Collection.

Central City are here to bring the fun, not to mention the funk, back into hip hop. The duo from Long Beach, California release their second album, Floss, on their very own Plush imprint. They are motivated by their desire to create the sort of music they love.

So what is it that Central City sounds like? Head-bobin, Hip Hop-Funk! This sophmore effort is a throwback to the block party ethos that made hip hop what it was. Central City are not dictated to by the fashions of the day and they do not just follow one musical path. Their influences range far and wide and, from the old-skool funk of Bootsy Collings and George Clinton right through to the lyrical mastery of Tupac and Kanye. These influences can be heard right across this album.

Central City are always learning, both from each other and from what they hear around them. They are constantly challenging themselves and each other. Producer Kneena and rapper SG are hard-workers. Kneena created his own record label, Plush Records, so that he could release the sounds he was cooking up, without having to compromise.

There is no compromise in the Central City sound. This album may be about partying and having fun, but there is a message in the music too. They tackle hardcore subjects in a fun and relevant way. The ethos is obviously working as Central City have been securing radio play across the states and collection a fair helping of praise from the press along the way.

If you like funky rhythms, intelligent rhymes and goood ol' fashioned party hip hop, then Central City is for you!

Bryan Gorsira has written songs for decades, and twelve of them from his recent and distant past comprise his latest effort, 'The Best Years'. The album ranges as greatly in style asit does in date-of-composition, including aspects of singer/songwriter sentimentality, backwoods zydeco, boogie woogie , and even a diversion into prog rock balladeering.

With a lyrical simplicity and sincerity reminiscent of Randy Travis Gorsia's mid-tempo tribute on the title track features sparse instrumentation accented nicely by violin and backing vocals. Among the various genres tapped into throughout the album, this track hints that Gorsira's later-in-life singer/songwriter explorations yield his best writing.

The Best years is an enjoyable listen, even with its significant style shifts and genre hops.

Slider is an offering from Bay Area pedal steel guitarist Bruce Kaphan - an exploration of new possibilities for a never-fully-exploited instrument!

Kaphan pioneered new territory for the pedal steel in the 90's as a member of alt-rock cult favorites American Music Club, where he quickly liberated the instrument from its Nashville stereotype. Slider is a more extensive rethinking of the pedal steel, with its silvery, liquid tone refracted through Kaphan's personal harmonic vocabulary, skillful arrangements and wide-ranging stylistic compass.

His pedal steel work with AMC also led to pedal steel sideman dates on recordings for REM, Jewel, The Black Crowes, Love and Rockets, Chris Isaak, Red House Painters, Jellyfish and others. Career highlights include playing with John Lee Ho**er on his Grammy-winning Chill Out. Bruce spent most of '97-'98 on the road playing with former Talking Heads front man David Byrne. Since then, he's focused on film scoring and sound design, producing albums for various Bay Area bands and artists, and doing his first solo album.

After 20 years of successful recording and touring with his band Garry and the Moodswingers, bandleader Garry Segal set off on a solo career. Garry got back to basics with a guitar, his voice, harmonica, paper, pencil and the insights gained from many years on the road ...taking notes along the way.

Taking Notes is an eclectic mix of americana styles featuring Garrys sly and wry lyrics detailing his world of failed dreams, humor and hope. His soulful singing, acoustic guitar and harmonica are supported by the To Dye For Band, a collection of friends and great players Garry has worked with over the years. Featured on the CD is Jeff Pevar who recently worked with Phil Lesh, Crosby Stills and Nash, the late great Ray Charles, Marc Cohn and many more. Phil Rosenthal bluegrass master from the Seldom Scene was a neighbor of Garry's. They began playing & recording together over the past several years. The CD was recorded at Bar None Studio owned and operated by Collin Tilton who also lends his smoky sax to the mix and was the sax man on Van Morrisons Moondance album. Stacy Phillips brings his Grammy winning Dobro style to a cut on the CD . Garry's long-time friends that have been on the road and in the studio with his various projects are the backbone...John Morello-Drums, John & Bubs & Brown-pedal steel, Peter Blossom-guitar, Joan Schroeder-harmony vocal, Steve Roane-bass & cello, John Kelly- Bass and Jordan Greco-keys all made contributions to Garry's original songs lifting them to new heights.

Taking Notes bleeds Americana, with an intoxicating blend of uptempo blues and soulful bluegrass that would fit nicely in the juke box of any down n' out, PBR serving dive bar. The good ole' boy quality in Segal's sound is evocative of late Springsteen. But at times, his strong blues influence sends his vocals a little more along the lines of Van Morrisson circa Astral Weeks. As a personal fan of whistling, I was especially pleased to hear the whistle intro/exit for & I Keep Drinkin (probably the best candidate to be added into the aforementioned dive bar juke box). This nod to the drinkers is my favorite track on the album, and the combination of Segal's raw vocals, Steve Roane's heavy baseline, and Tilton's smooth sax, artistically portrays the melancholic world of well whiskey and a burdened heart. Segal's musicianship – especially the free-flowing harmonica work that would put a smile on the face of any Dylan fan.

'No Words' is either solo or two-part acoustic guitar and/or dobro and is a mix of original folk-blues, arrangements of traditional celtic tunes, and a bit of a jazz flavour.

"Suite for Peace" is a composition of four classical and new age pieces presented in 15 tracks intended to stimulate a sense of contemplation, peace, joy and harmony among listeners. It is the culmination of a life- long belief by composer Ahmad Nadimi that “we each and all sing an eternal song of peace"

Nadimi accompanied by the full Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra performs most of the 15 compositions on "Suite for Peace". The selections include innovative use of world instruments and at variety of vocal accompaniments, including a Ney solo in Shepherd's dream; vocals by mezzo-soprano Emiko Nadimi; a chant entitled Angelic Call for Peace by the Children's Chorus of Washington; and a voice collage from children around the world.

"This composition emerges as an offering- to the blossoming of love and the truth of humanity," states Nadimi. "Inspired by nature, longing, and divine love, each piece carries a unique expression of beauty, which can manifest as harmony within, and out in the universe."

Each piece has a different mood, story and imaginative atmosphere. "Suite for Peace" includes compositions with themes of nature, new age, world instruments synthesizer and ethereal sounds, as well as full orchestral passages.

Ada C. Washington created the original music of "Aunty K n'Em in Pigsburgh". Ada has been creating, performing, and teaching music since 1972. She is a native of Shreveport, Louisiana, holds a Bachelors of Science in Music, and a Masters Degree in Education and now resides in Flint, Michigan. After producing a number of children's musicals, Ada decided to write her own original musicals.

"Aunty K n'Em in Pigsburgh" is a unique CD that taps into the hearts of it's listeners as they follow the magical journey of Palmer, Polly, and Pigszy Pig who encounter real life issues of, self-discovery, self-sufficiency, separation, and triumph over obstacles in an entertaining and positive manner. The CD is based upon the soon to be published book, "Aunty K n'Em in Pigsburgh" a whimsical children's journey into fantasyland,. The character of Aunty K is everyone's favorite aunty who loves and encourages her way through Pigsburgh with the eclectic music styles, including rock and roll, jazz, do whop, and calypso.

Ada's CD contains 27 tracks and offers 68 minutes of musical pleasure. The first 17 tracks tell the musical story. Tracks 18 through 27 highlight the musical talents of its outstanding musicians.

Arthurkill is a combination of Hard Rock and Alternative with a little Metal sprinkled on top! The CD, 'Addiction', consists of ten songs that jump out at you and claw at your skin. The lyrics are in your face, the guitars are huge, and the sound is monstrous. Events and life experiences inspire their lyrics. Mixed into all of this are melodies that draw the listener in to each song. The choruses explode in your face with hooks that keep you singing. Originally hailing from Montreal, Quebec and now transplanted in Toronto, Ontario Elana Harte is a talented singer/songwriter, producer, and engineer. You can catch her playing live in places like China, Eastern Canada, Quebec, Ontario, Los Angeles, and the Boston area.

Her music is a mixture of Roots and Folk, with a dash of Country on the side. Her voice is deep, clear and completely commanding while her lyrics remain intensely personal and full of emotion.

Elana has received a number of accolades for her CD 'Heart, Soul, & Song' including honourable mentions from the Unison International Song Contest, the Annual Great American Song Contest, and the Billboard Song Contest, and was in the top five in the Songwriter Universe Best Song of the Month.
