There's a fire in Charlie Lake that started around 7 a.m. Tuesday morning.
The owner of the property called 911 between 7 - 7:30 a.m about a fire in their barn. No one was injured and there were no animals in the barn at the time of the fire.
Charlie Lake Fire Department responded to the call and the Taylor FD and Fort St. John FD arrived for backup.
The barn is still smoking, but crews are working hard to eliminate the fire.

WATCH: Grassfire west of Dawson Creek
A grassfire started from a tractor this afternoon. It was working a field beside the Hart Highway, 4 kilometres west of Dawson Creek.
Witnesses say the Dawson Creek Fire Department and RCMP were on scene shortly after the fire started. They say the response time was a big factor in getting the fire under control before it had a chance to spread and do damage to nearby homes.

Fort Nelson RCMP are urging motorists to follow directions from crews who are piloting vehicles on Highway 97 through the fire zone. Sergeant Dusty Miller says, "if possible, avoid the area if you don't need to travel."
Motorists can expect delays of at least 1.5 hours. The decision to keep the Alaska Highway open is being made on a 15 minute basis.
As the temperatures begin to soar, it's expected the intensity of the fire will increase as well this afternoon.
