Arirang Korea is a magazine style programme for Korean speaking Canadians. We self-produce all media content.
ARIRANG KOREA was founded to preserve and promote Korean identity, language and customs among Korean-Canadians. We support activities and projects that uphold the Korean name and encourage cultural understanding throughout the Korean population in Canada. As the only Korean television program to air on OMNI Television, each week we offer 30 first-run minutes of the latest in news, community update
s, local event coverage, feature interviews and a variety of exciting segments. Our magazine style programming inform, educate and entertain viewers from a Korean-Canadian perspective, providing English and/or Korean subtitles on all production. We also strive to connect with all Canadian viewers beyond the Korean community in the province.

ETHNIC COMMUNITY TELEVISION IN CANADA IS ON THE BRINK OF SILENCE. We need your help to change that.
It's shocking, but in a nation as diverse as Canada, programs like ours receive absolutely no government support. Meanwhile, large TV networks benefit from millions of dollars in subsidies. Without the necessary funding, the vibrant mosaic of ethnic voices could soon vanish from Canadian screens. Demand action from your MP, urge them to open the doors to funding for independent ethnic community television!
