RCMP to give update on homicide of Misha Pavelick after 17 years
A fight broke out at a high school camping party near Regina Beach, Sask, during the May long weekend in 2006, and Misha Pavelick, 19, did not survive. His death is considered a homicide.
RCMP continued to investigate over the past 17 years. Sgt. Major Darryl Milo with Saskatchewan RCMP’s Historical Case Unit is set to provide an update on the investigation.

The RCMP Major Crimes Unit is presenting a preliminary timeline of the mass casualty homicides in James Smith Cree Nation in Melfort, Sask. The presentation is expected to be followed by a 45-minute Q&A session.

WATCH NOW: Dr. Lillian Thorpe is taking questions on medical assistance in dying live on CBC Radio's Blue Sky.
Dr. Thorpe spends much of her clinical time performing assessments of capacity in complex patients, but also assesses many patients requesting MAID. She is a geriatric psychiatrist and Professor of psychiatry and Community Health and Epidemiology at the University of Saskatchewan.

Guest Siobhan Chinnery supported her husband Scott through a medically assisted death in 2019. He died at home surrounded by family and friends. She now volunteers with the organization Dying with Dignity in Calgary. She will join the show at 12:20 CST.
