We are deeply saddened by the passing of Dave Jones, a pillar of Calgary's music and arts community. For 29 years, Dave led the Prime Time Big Band, bringing joy and passion to every performance at the Ironwood Stage and Grill. As the director for the PPCLI Band and a talented trumpet player, his contributions to the world of music were immeasurable. Dave's dedication, talent, and infectious love for jazz and big band music have left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His influence rekindled a lifelong love of music in many, and his presence will be profoundly missed. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, and all who were touched by his incredible work. Rest in peace, Dave.
