Stress *can* be good for you… when you need it 🐅
Loved getting into some neuro nerdiness with @annemariemediwake on @yourmorning this week 🤓 I’m no neuroscientist, but I got to study the impacts on our brains in the Meditation Teacher Training certification I did with @the.path last summer. Proof is in the pudding - the more you make room for regular mindfulness practices, the better equipped you can be to emotionally regulate, respond vs react especially in stressful moments, and at the very least? Cultivate a little more peace, compassion, and self-awareness in your life.
