We had the pleasure of working with Pallan & Associates CPA, an accounting firm based in Victoria, B.C., to create a fresh and professional logo and business card design. Our goal was to capture the essence of their expertise and dedication to client success, while giving them a visual identity that stands out in the industry.

Meet our Creative Director, Graem Millala! A man with a passion for working with product-focused companies to build a compelling story, launch products, and drive awareness. He loves to get to know businesses and their unique qualities, and then distill their story into something that resonates with their audience.

Graem is an avid photographer and is happiest when he's behind a lens.

Outside of his creative hobbies, Graem is a family man who loves to spend his free time with his two sons, and cooking for and with his friends and family.

While friends and coworkers may describe him as "a great fertilizer one day," we deeply value his dedication and expertise while he's around. 😉

We have recently been privileged to work on the Allward Memorial Project with Perth County, drawing attention to Canadian sculptor Walter Allward and the four unique memorials he crafted in the wake of the Great War. Building this campaign was a fascinating and humbling experience for our team as we reflected on Allward's masterful skill and the profound horror of war. More than 61,000 Canadian lives were lost in the First World War. Many soldiers died overseas, their bodies never repatriated. These are the fallen heroes that Allward sought to honour in his work.

This Remembrance Day, we invite you to watch the videos produced by the Allward Memorial Project to learn, respect, and understand the sacrifice that was paid for our freedom. Lest we forget.

In 2013 we started working with Carey Newman on the Witness Blanket project. At the time, like many Canadians, we knew nothing about Residential Schools, the systemic nature by which they were deployed, or their connection to the intergenerational trauma suffered by Indigenous peoples across Canada. Carey was in need of a website to provide information on an art project he was undertaking in support of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC). We learned he intended to travel Canada to collect pieces and memories of residential schools and combine them into a 'blanket' of sorts. Along the way he would be visiting and speaking with residential school Survivors - and we decided that although we had no budget to do so, we should join with our cameras and capture their stories. That decision would change us as a company - and individuals - forever.

Five years, dozens of interviews with Survivors and tours of residential schools later, we completed our first feature film: 'Picking up the Pieces: The Making of the Witness Blanket'. It would premiere at the Vancouver International Film Festival in 2018, and in partnership with the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, be made available for public view. This October it will be screened at the Frankfurt Film Institute, as part of the Frankfurt Bookfair.

Today, in recognition of the first National Day of Truth and Reconciliation in Canada, we invite you to join us in bearing witness to this journey and work of art that Carey and his team brought to life, inspired and held up by residential school Survivors. This film was a passion project that gave to us as much as we gave to it. We are proud to dedicate the work we continue to do with Indigenous people and communities to the TRUTH, in the hopes that one day, generations into the future, the world can look back at Canada and recall an era of reconciliation. https://loom.ly/YmerY6k

The Canadian Museum for Human Rights is located on ancestral lands, on Treaty 1 Territory. The Red River Valley is also the birthplace of the Métis. We acknowledge the water in the Museum is sourced from Shoal Lake 40 First Nation.
