Ontario OUT of DOORS
Ontario OUT of DOORS was first founded in 1967 as Ontario Fisherman and Hunter. In 2009, the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters (OFAH) bought the magazine from Rogers, and OOD’s office relocated from Toronto to the OFAH Conservation Centre in Peterborough, where we remain today.
OOD is an award-winning magazine focused on hunting, fishing, and outdoors content. The columns and features range from tactical knowledge to DIYs, gear guides to How-to's, browsing pieces, regular news updates, as well as the OFAH insider, recipes, and contests.
OOD prints 10 issues per year, available both in-print and/or in the enhanced digital version, depending on the subscription. OFAH members receive issues of the magazine as part of their membership. OOD also hosts a website brimming with magazine-published stories with page views in the hundreds of thousands monthly, and an active community forum with nearly 14,000 registered users. OOD has a wide following on not only Facebook, but also on Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Pinterest.
