Prairie Cat Productions is a Canadian Screen Award nominated independent production company based in Regina, Saskatchewan. Founded by Lucas Frison, the company is focused on producing stories that celebrate life on the Canadian prairies. Lucas teamed with producer Élise Beaudry-Ferland in 2016 to bring Prairie Cat’s first feature film to life, Talent. After a successful crowdfunding campaign, Tale

nt became one of 18 projects awarded funding through Telefilm Canada's Talent to Watch program. Humboldt: The New Season is our 2019 documentary that followed the Humboldt Broncos the season after the tragic April 2018 accident. Nominated for a Canadian Screen Award for Best Documentary Program, the film is available now on CBC Gem. We are making a new movie! Huge thanks to Telefilm Canada and Creative Saskatchewan for the support for our new comedy, One Perfect Date! We are truly thrilled, excited, delighted, gleeful....the list goes on. Can't wait to get started!

Telefilm Canada is announcing its investment of $14.1 million in 26 feature film projects in the English market under the Production Program in the low budget stream (for projects with budgets under $3.5 million, including international coproductions).

Our documentary episode of 'Our Community' premieres across Canada tonight on AMI-TV at 7:30pm Saskatchewan time (9:30pm EST). The episode is about The AIM Program in Saskatoon, a non-profit that supports youth and young adults with Down syndrome. AMI-TV is available on all digital cable and satellite providers, so tune in tonight to see some amazing individuals and an incredible Saskatchewan based program!
