Lisa Roper enetered the Lac La Biche Walleye Cup over the weekend here is her experience:

"A heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers and committee members of the Lac La Biche Walleye Cup. Once again, you organized an amazing sold-out event, and it was fantastic to see so many people come together from all over.

The weather conditions, particularly the strong winds, made it tough to pre-fish, and the tournament had to be moved by a day.

However on day one, everything came together for my tournament partner, Josh Murphy, and I. We settled into our spot and in the first 45 minutes, we had a full card and spent the remainder of the day upgrading our fish. By the end of the day, we were sitting in fourth place with a total weight in the 40 pounds. We were pumped!

Unfortunately, on day two, despite our hard work, things didn’t come together for us. We just couldn’t find the big fish.

We learned a lot and know we have some work to do, but we can’t wait for next year!

Congratulations to all the winners. There were some huge weights and giant walleye caught. 🎣🎣🎣 "

A giant black bear for in Alberta check out their story:

"Another Giant has fallen

From starting the afternoon sit to heading home to catch the hockey game to driving all the way back out to the stand after my Cell camera let me know A giant was making his way in, it all came together on what is my biggest bear to date🙏🏻

By far the most event filled evening of Bear hunting I’ve ever had and one of the cornerstone stories I’ll be able to tell for years.

My and Arrows did their job above and beyond once again and another incredible experience was had.

That’ll do it for me and my Bear Hunting endeavours at home here in Alberta at my own baits for this spring. 2024 is off to a great start. I’m incredibly thankful to have the opportunity to do this and share my adventures with so many like minded people."
