This just in from the CBRM

According to the Passenger Vehicle for Hire By-law (By-law No. P-500), taxi operators in CBRM have the option to charge a small service fee if the fare isn't paid in cash, such as with a debit or credit card.

Here are the maximum fees that can be charged:
$2.00 for fares up to $100
$5.00 for fares over $100

All charges must be in one transaction, and receipts will clearly show the fare and the service fee separately. This ensures transparency and convenience for all passengers.

This fee is optional for taxi companies and the amounts listed are the maximum fees allowed by CBRM.

My daughter called me last week to ask if I watched Friends back in the day. I didn't. She asked me if I ever seen it at all I may have seen 3 episodes. She then told me her friends all say EVERYONE has watched it. She hasn't seen it either
