Throwback to Year 2! 🎉

Looking back at this photo of Theresa and I from our second year in business reminds me just how far we’ve come. When it was just the two of us, we wore all the hats ( sometimes we still do)—marketing, sales, admin, customer service, you name it. We hustled, we learned, and we kept showing up.

Now, over six years later, Simple Desk has grown into something bigger than I could have imagined. And along the way, Brazen was born—a space for women entrepreneurs to connect, collaborate, and build something extraordinary together.

There have been challenges, wins, and plenty of “figure-it-out” moments, but through it all, one thing has remained the same: my passion for helping businesses (and the women behind them) thrive.

Earlier this week, I made the trip into Toronto with the ladies from my GroYourBiz group for an inspiring fireside chat with some truly amazing businesswomen from around the province.

There’s something incredibly powerful about surrounding yourself with like-minded women who get it—who understand the challenges, the wins, and the relentless drive it takes to run a business.

Conversations like these aren’t just networking; they’re about connection, collaboration, and lifting each other up. Being in a room with such driven and passionate women reminded me of the importance of finding your tribe—the people who inspire you to dream bigger and keep pushing forward.
