I am in absolute awe after the impromptu connection I made over the weekend!

While out for dinner with some family and friends, it was mentioned that I worked in media. Fae, who is visiting from Jamaica, mentioned that she did as well and I (of course) had MULTIPLE follow up questions. 😅

Not only does Fae work in the industry, but she is actually a media ICON in Jamaica! Through her time in broadcasting, she has served as a television news anchor, morning show host and radio host. She met the Queen twice, interviewed multiple political figures and even served as a dialect coach on the new movie, “Bob Marley: One Love”. I was so fortunate to spend some time together, talk about the industry and take some advice from her as well.

Fae, it was a pleasure and an honour to connect with you over the weekend! Hopefully our paths cross again one day 🤩
