The love of my life and I got married!
Surrounded by so many family, friends and BC sunshine, we celebrated our love.
Lindsay made me a custom ring inscribed to a T with my spirituality of universe. I couldn’t ask for a better wife.
Now one major absence was my sister Meghan who had to do a video call to watch our wedding because 12 hours later, she brought her beautiful new baby into the world!
We have so much to celebrate as a family!
I couldn’t have imagine a better weekend.

From the use of helicopters in Hollywood films to the ever present use of drones in recent years, we can all agree on one thing: drone footage is beautiful.
It gives us a unique perspective, lending us a birds-eye view of the world. It allows for the quick passing of trees as you drop over a cliff, the reveal of a beautiful oasis or heart-calming sunset.
For real estate agents, vineyards, hotels, athletes, horticulturists and more, showcasing your you or your business with a drone is a must. Showcase your product or service, show off the surrounding area and connect with your customers on a level like never before.

I made a little video for my sister and her husband for their special announcement!
They had a beautiful Covid-friendly wedding in Salmon Arm and now are sharing their next surprise!
Join me in congratulating and on this beautiful gift!
They’re new to Kelowna and could use some love, support and hellos from us to help them get settled!
Congratulations you two! I’m ready to be an uncle to your little one!

I often get asked what’s the #1 thing you can do to be a better photographer, videographer or director and my answer is always, “be good with people and make them comfortable in front of the lens.”
One of the best ways of doing that as someone who often sits behind the camera, is to get yourself in front of the camera and see what it feels like.
I can guarantee you will probably not like it.
Our vulnerabilities appear when we’re being recorded. We tense up, our heart races and our mouth dries. “What if I look funny?” or similar thoughts appear.
When I was a wedding photographer, I worked with brides & grooms of all shapes and sizes and backgrounds and comfortability in front of the lens. Even as a filmmaker I find the most practiced actors can’t always control their heart rate and they get tunnel vision and hyper focus.
But I love connecting with people. Helping them breathe again. Talking to them about anything in the world. And help them remember that nothing can truly go wrong.
Once you’re reminded of this, you can truly be yourself. Shining brightly for the world to see.

It’s an incredible feeling to work with professionals. People who are so passionate and so skilled at their work, that the process of working with them is painless. is no exception.
I hired him to do my professional portrait and he was so much fun to work with. I loved watching him and learning from him, like how he moved his large LED panels to get the perfect catch light in my eyes.
It can be intimidating to have your face blown up in front of everybody but he made the process so easy.
I made a set of business cards using the photo on the back. The typefaces are Chelenham mixed with Franklin in an off-white. Front of the card is a Costa Rican sunrise with my logo in gold foil.
I can only hope I’m as rewarding to work with! Check Trevor out, he’s great.

I AM A HUMANIST & ENVIRONMENTALIST
And I love to tell stories.
I grew up in a small town outside of Toronto, Ontario, falling in love with three things that drive me the most today: nature, technology and people.
From endless days running around outside, building forts and manipulating the natural world, I was in awe of both the constructive and destructive power of my hands and understood the responsibility therein.
Fast-forward to my successful career in my mid-20s in technology and advertising, I began to come back to my environmental and emotionally-connected roots after moving to Kelowna, British Columbia. I travelled, became a yogi, turned professional with James Alton Visuals.
Now in my 30s, I am plunging into to become a documentary filmmaker & environmental media producer. I have content represented by Getty Images and I find it an honour to be able to sell how I capture the world. I am in my second term as President of the Okanagan Society of Independent Filmmaking because of this passion. My ultimate goal is to record, document and tell the stories of those who are not able to.
On my personal side, I have gone deeper into my spirituality, exploring naturalism, painting, meditation and listen to experimental piano (like Nils Frahm, Ludovico Einaudi) and jazz.
I’ve been told I often sound like Brené Brown when I speak about vulnerability and sharing or Marie Kondo when I speak about cleaning, organization and spirituality.
If you want to see more about me, I have a minor page of photoshoots I’ve taken part in. If you want to say hello, don’t be afraid to reach out! Meeting people breathes new life into me. And I hope to meet you soon.
