We’ve made our mark! This year marks 25 years 😮😄 Celebrations to come with our grand re-opening!

Edit: We want to add how appreciative we have been for the community and their support and loyalty they have shown to us over these years. Hayven and Megan have grown up here, it’s become a large part of their lives and now their children are experiencing it. We’ve seen MANY faces come through our little fuel station. Some have returned and become regulars. Meeting all of you has been the best part about owning this place; whether you are just passing through or you return again and again. We couldn’t have made it this far without you!
Also, a special thanks to our staff, current and past. Again, we’ve made it this far because of you guys. You are the frontline, the first faces seen. Many customers return because of you! The list of alumni workers is quite large and runs even before Bev and Art purchased the business. We love hearing stories from customers that come in and say this was their first job when so and so had this place.
The history is strong here (1964) and we can’t be more proud to have been a part of it for 25 years.

Whitecourt Town Council encourages the citizens of Whitecourt to recognize June 15 as Lemonade Day in Whitecourt.

Lemonade Day helps youth learn skills to be become the business leading, social advocated, community volunteers and forward thinking citizens of tomorrow. Youth will be set up all throughout town with their lemonade stands on June 15 and we encourage the residents of Whitecourt to support these entrepreneurs by purchasing their tasty treats.

The Whitecourt Skate Jam is happening on Saturday, June 22 from 1-4pm at the Whitecourt Skate Park! Alberta Action Sports Association will be hosting fun competitions with prizes for skateboard, scooter, and bike! Spectators are welcome to this free event!

WHITECOURT TO HOST EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT TRAINING EXERCISE MAY 31: On Friday, May 31 a full-scale emergency exercise will be hosted by the Town of Whitecourt.

The exercise will take place between 8:30am and 4:30pm and is designed to practice and evaluate emergency preparedness. The exercise, which will be held in partnership with Canfor, Millar Western, and a variety of other community stakeholders, will bring together employees with emergency-related roles to test emergency response plans and inter-agency coordination.

“The simulated scenario will follow all protocols that would be in place during a real-life emergency,” stated Lee Hardman, Whitecourt Director of Community Safety. “As a community, we are committed to ongoing emergency training, and this exercise will help to enhance and build the skills that our team needs to be prepared for emergencies.”

As part of this simulation, it is anticipated that a large presence of emergency personnel will be visible in the valley/west Whitecourt area. The public is being asked to remain clear of sites where emergency personnel are operating to allow members to train effectively.
