Just being a third wheel on the dreamiest forest date with Grace and Adam. Wandering through towering trees, breathing in the crisp ocean air, and watching these two exist so effortlessly in their own little world. Witnessing a love that feels like it’s straight out of a movie.

There’s something so magical about capturing raw moments like these. The forest, the light, the quiet intimacy. A love story that doesn’t need a script. 🌲✨

A bit of a different take on the “I met my younger self for coffee” trend. This one got me. So much has happened in the last year and a half and I truly wouldn’t be where I am without everything that happened.

Running a pet care business for 7 years, having it finally take off and be my sole income for 2 years, but the burn out got me. I started to come to the realization that it wasn’t what I wanted to do anymore but I couldn’t bring myself to throw it all away.

While at a dogsit and away from my babies at home, one of my dogs suffered an injury at the groomers which caused her to become paralyzed and we were forced to choose humane euthanasia to end her suffering. She was only 5 years old with so many years ahead of her.

I realized I could no longer pursue a career that kept me away from my family and my pets as much as it did and so I picked up my camera and starting taking photos as a way to cope.

It’s now everything to me to capture peoples love stories and huge life events in a way that they can cherish them forever. Freezing moments in time. I’m so grateful for the stories and memories and milestones that I’ve gotten to be apart of in this last year and a half. It truly is everything to me.

I can’t wait to be apart of so many more this year. 🤍

2024 has been a year of unexpected twists, highs, and challenges. At the close of 2023, I faced the difficult decision to close my pet care business after seven years, a decision that left me uncertain about the future. With no backup plan, I took time to grieve and search for new opportunities, but something unexpected happened, I picked up my camera again for the first time in years. I rediscovered the joy of capturing precious memories and creating art.

Months of job searching led me to a realization, that I needed to dive into photography wholeheartedly and see where it would take me. Though it wasn’t planned, it turned out to be the best decision I could have made. This year, I had the honor of photographing weddings, baby announcements, and the love between people. I even traveled to Banff to shoot an elopement! An opportunity I never could have imagined in my first year as a photographer.

I’ve learned so much this year and connected with incredible people. It wasn’t always easy, but I worked hard and pushed myself to do things I never thought possible. I’m excited to see what 2025 holds, and I’m ready for whatever comes next.

Thank you to everyone who supported me this year. I truly couldn’t have done it without you. I feel so incredibly lucky. 🤍
