We live in a world where your best friend kills you!!!
The news of a young businessman being killed by a friend has definitely left us in shock but this serves as an eye opener for many of us.
It shows us what a sad and envious place we live in.
When someone we trust as a friend can lure us to our death, for the sake of money, it tells us that our morality as a human race has diminished and the reality of greed, envy and lust have kicked in.
In today’s society, we eat and drink from the same glass and plate with the people we trust, but at the same time, we must pay special attention to their sincerity or their intentions whether good or bad…
Sometimes, it is better to walk alone than with a group of friends who may have bad intentions to achieve their envious goals.
The reality is that at the end of the day, trust no one and if you do, let your circle be very small with the people who looks out for you in time of need.
Be sure to exercise caution in whomever you trust. Keep your circle tight and comprised of only those genuinely invested in your well-being.
For the young businessman, his trust was misplaced, leading to a tragic end fueled by greed and envy.
This is a somber reminder to assess our relationships and make wise choices. Life is unpredictable; we’re present today and possibly gone tomorrow. Such is the fleeting nature of existence.
Distance yourselves from those who don’t have our best interests at heart and strive to be the kind of friend you’d want by your side.
