BREAKING NEWS Dec 18, 2022
SANTA IS OK!

This afternoon, at the Hanna Arena, Santa Claus took a tumble on the ice. He paid a visit to the Hanna Hospital where he was checked out and given a couple of stitches before the Dr. sent him home to Mrs. Claus for rest. He is just fine and will be ready to make his deliveries.

Santa wants to be sure and send thanks to Hanna EMS and the Hanna hospital staff for the great care he received.

RCMP warn of poor highway driving conditions in central Alberta – Update

RCMP continue to advise the public of poor road conditions along Highway 2 through central Alberta. Many snowplows and other snow removal equipment, such as graders, continue to work to keep Alberta’s highways clear and open to traffic. It is advised to stay off the road during these poor road conditions, unless travel is absolutely necessary. If roads are closed, do not travel at all. Please see up to date road reports from 511 Alberta and plan your travel plans accordingly.

We’ve been waiting for this one! The Six-A-Side game has been described as fast break football for a reason.
🏈🏈
Rare is the game that does not see the score reach into the 60S - sometimes by both teams. It can be a workout for both players and officials alike, but can also deliver some of the most exciting games in the province during the fall.
🏈🏈
This week’s game features two undefeated teams vying for first place in the Eastern Division of the Six-A-Side HS league in their last regular season match-up. So fill up the bleachers as Millwoods Christian Royals take on J. C. Charyk Hawks this Friday!
