In response to Toronto Public Health initiatives regarding COVID-19, RAD has made the decision to cancel the issue 12 launch party. While our team has worked hard on this event and was so excited to showcase the artwork of Ryerson creatives, we understand the situation at hand and find it necessary to follow current health and safety recommendations to avoid large gatherings.

Be safe. Stay healthy. Take care of yourselves and your loved ones. That is the most important thing.

Copies of RAD Issue 12 will still be available to purchase! Please message us for details.

An astounding VR event! Biidaaban: First Light explores a radically different Toronto where the city has been reclaimed by nature.
Created by the Anishinaabe contemporary Artist Lisa Jackson in collaboration with Mathew Barrett, Torontonians are able to roam the city no longer flooded with humans but immersed in nature the same as Indigenous people always have.
