Asia FM is...
1. A window to the growing Asian music scene
We will make Asian music, especially C-Pop, K-Pop, J-Pop, P-Pop, V-Pop, and M-Pop, accessible to everyone through Canadian airwaves
2. A launching pad for Asian Canadian talent
We are committed to supporting up and coming Asian Canadian musicians from all genres. We will provide broadcast exposure to Asian Canadian musicians.
3. A platform to encourage growth within the Asian Canadian broadcasting industry
We will provide Asian Canadians, a traditionally under-represented group in this industry, new opportunities in broadcast media and journalism

In Dec 2011 we will be applying to the CRTC for a new FM radio license along with 15 or more other applicants. Information from our survey will help strengthen our application and show that there is a REAL DEMAND and REAL NEED for an English language Asian station. Even if you don't live in Toronto your opinion counts so please support this effort. What else can you do? Support the movement, spread the word. "Like" this page but more importantly please write a comment letting the CRTC know that you really support this station. These comments will also be submitted to the CRTC. Tell them that you're tired of the same Top 40 songs and that K-Pop, C-Pop or J-Pop is important to you. Tell them that Asian Canadian artists are getting little or no exposure on mainstream Top 40 stations and that they deserve to get more airtime. Why should you support Asia FM?
1. Talented Asian Canadian artists like Shayne Orok shouldn't have to travel half way around the world to get discovered. Asia FM would help find and develop great Canadian talent.
2. Asian pop is popular but there are still tons of people that have never heard it. An FM station dedicated to Asian music will help develop more and more fans.
3. More fans mean bigger flash mobs! But it takes more then just flash mobs to get your favorite stars to come to Canada. A successful Asian radio station will give entertainment companies confidence that there won't be any empty seats at their concerts!
4. Aren't you tired of turning the dial and hearing the same songs?
5. Asia FM will strive to be a unifying platform which will give all Asians a powerful voice in Canada.
