We invested some time into our workflow over here at Skeena River Media! Moving forward we will be shooting all of our projects in Cinema Raw to deliver the best images we can to our clients. This shift has been substantially different from our traditional workflow but we are super excited about the images we are getting. Here are some recent screen grabs from a shoot with local wildlife photographer . Never stop learning folks! We are really looking forward to making some magic this summer!

Artist:

Carly Nabess, a Métis (The Floral Beadwork People) artist born and raised here in Terrace home of the Tsimshian Peoples. Her work celebrates her culture, identity, and communities.
I hope this image brings healing and good medicine to those who wear their orange shirts while they remember and honour those who attended residential School and to the little girl, Phyllis Webstad, who had her orange shirt taken away. The water symbolizes healing. The tattooed florals represent medicines and cultural revitalization.

The Skeena Valley Farmers Market! This Video hits close to home for us as we LOVE the market! We look forward to it every weekend and get super stoked to get home and cook with fresh produce.

We Followed Chef Dominic Giroux through the market to really showcase the fresh produce and everything else the market has to offer.

Skeena River Media will continue to showcase all the awesome farmers and artisans because these are the people that make this place such an awesome place to live!

Hats off to the farmers this year! If you see any of these Familiar faces out and about be sure to give them a high five! This was a crazy season with flooding and heat and these lovely folks still managed to get fresh produce on our table!

Terrace has become a pretty special place when it comes to mountain biking! In recent years the sport has grown exponentially and so has the community. Here is a video we produced this summer for Visit Terrace and it definitely won't be the last biking video we produce! We are hooked!

We had the privilege of working with Dempsey Bob, a local master carver. Working closely with the Canadian Art Council of Canada we produced a vignette on Dempsey so people can learn a little more about this very special artist.

For three years now we have been helping Sight & Sound Out with professional media. When the store shifted to just music Tony had some really big ideas and he followed through with them. We have produced two commercials and the intros for all sight and sounds online in-store videos! Tony and his team made a commitment to do staff pick of the week videos and they stuck with it! which made it even easier for them when covid hit as clients were very familiar with their online presence!
