Dave Loggins' song "Fast Movin' Train" (A hit for Restless Heart) is among the best EVER written. Now don't get me wrong I'm not comparing the two it's just that I get the same vibe from this song. Steve Pointmeier's voice is right on track & delivers the imagery intended by the lyrics. Whether you've ever had that trainwreck heartbreak or not you'll definitely enjoy this song! I’m not much for conspiracy theories.
But I heard a comedian recently lament in a ‘bit’, about not believing in “Any”? And further he said “ really, you think the government is batting a thousand”?
Funny stuff, but as I have seen over my 50+ years on this earth 🌍,with the few (1%) having more and more control over the many and watching what used to be a decent wage for my trade being gobbled up by the necessities (food,fuel,utilities), and watching our current 9year old girl getting more and more brainwashed by this current system and using words that didn’t exist when I was 9!
“Trending” shouldn’t be what matters to our children! They should be outside slipping on the Ice and falling off their skateboards with their friends!
Not watching the monster that is YouTube for new trends they gotta have and spending their allowance on a “new lip gloss” that is “trending”!
($19 for lip gloss)???
So, my point is this…
I have a 28 year old daughter and a 9 year old, and raising them has been a completely different experience. Even 15-20 years ago our kids had different issues to contend with and believe me when I tell you that I’m glad I was born in 1970 and didn’t have the struggles of our current kids to contend with.
So, let’s STOP the madness and teach our kids what’s important and stop supporting “big business” who only cares about taking away our freedoms and rights and our money!
Shop local and boycott the big businesss.
Our government doesn’t care about us.
