Russia is one of the mightiest communist countries in the world with the largest army called the “Russian Army”. This communist country had spread havoc in the past and doing the same in this present time through this ongoing war between them and Ukraine. Which is widely known as the Russo -Ukrainian war of this present time.

You can simply look at the map of Russia and Russian History to tell why it’s one of the mightiest among other countries. Russian map would show you how vast the country is and Russian history would tell you the story of their cruelty as a nation.

Russia was once a part of the Soviet Union and then after many years of political and economical turmoil, the Soviet Union had a great fall and for this, the Russians blames the Russian president of that time Mikhail Gorbachev. Many countries including Ukraine were also member countries of the Soviet Union. These two countries are geographically so close to each other that Russia’s time zone even matches Ukraine's. Still, Russia didn’t hesitate to invade Ukraine.

After the dissolution of the Soviet Union, Russia and Ukraine became independent countries. Since their independence, Russia started to take interest in Ukrainian territories and annexed a vast area. Ukraine couldn’t stand against the vast Russian army. Russia has a vast army as Russia has a vast population.

Russia took Donbas in control but didn’t stop there and in this present time, it again is trying to possess more Ukrainian area and have started the great Russo-Ukrainian war which is the center topic of today’s world. The whole world including The USA and the European continent is supporting Ukraine but still, it seems like Russia is going to win this war as Russia is going to use this coming Winter as their weapon.

Russia has been using the winter as its weapon for ages. The dense fog of Russian winter blinded the german army in world war II and that’s what helped Russia to win the war. Most of the time the soldiers of the war from other countries can’t even stand the winter in Russia. Russian winter is so damn cold it can freeze one’s blood. But Russians are used to this cold so winter doesn’t seem to bother the Russian Army. While the armies of other countries fall weak in the cold, the Russian army appears in their full vigor and crashes the opponent. So Russia has personified the season of winter by calling it “General Winter”.

So it may raise the question of how Russia will use their general winter in this war as Ukraine is not going into Russian territory to attack. So the point is, Russia is the sole distributor of almost 60% of gas and oil supplies in this world and without Russian power supplies, Europe is going to freeze both physically and economically this winter.

European winter is almost as deadliest as Russian winter, so the Europeans need gas and oil to keep themselves warm. This Russo-Ukrainian war has caused inflation throughout the world and Europeans along with the Ukrainians are the worst sufferer. Food shortage has occurred and many people have already lost their jobs due to this war many companies have fallen into loss and had to close their companies. So this winter is going to be hard for Europe as they would starve and freeze at the same time if their government doesn’t stop supporting Ukraine.

Russia has stopped supplying gas to Europe and which has already brought catastrophe in the mind of European citizens. They have started protesting against their government so their government stops supporting Ukraine. While many countries in the world are donating to save Ukraine European countries are withdrawing their support. Germany has already stopped providing weapons to Ukraine.

Russia has already limited its supplies to win the war and to uphold Russian currency by increasing the worth of the Ruble. Russia's gas and oil are a great need of the world and as Russia has stopped supplies or limited its supplies due to this war has raised the cost of each and every product around the world. According to the latest news on the Ukraine war, Ukraine war analysis says- in this Ukraine war vs Russia, many countries have already stopped supporting Ukraine. So it seems like General Winter is gonna be favorable to Russia. On the other hand casualties of this war are terrifying for Ukraine. Though both Russia and Ukraine are suffering the casualties of this war.
