« Someone suggested singing to help with phantom pain; this fascinated me and I’m going to try it next time. It also sent me looking for new research on the mechanisms underlying phantom pain - it is still a bit of a mystery. 🙂 While on the hunt, I found a relatively recent article with some interesting information that I’ll share through the week such as this phantom limb and pain graphic.» Kirsten Woodend

Picking a prosthetist is a huge step in the recovery process after an amputation.🤔🏥 You aren’t tied to the prosthetist that your doctor refers you to, and most prosthetists are happy to provide a consultation before taking you on as a patient.📝
