Some of my favourite highlight moments from 2024 🫶🏻✨

January: skiing, cozy cabins, winter hiking
February: Vegas and a road trip through Arizona visiting the Grand Canyon, Sedona and a few nights visiting my grandpa
March: Victoria to visit my mom and sister
April: hot springs, a relaxing cabin getaway, bought a cold plunge for at home and enjoyed the spring wild flowers in the Okanagan
May: caught the northern lights a time or two, paddle boarded on some beautiful lakes, stayed in an off grid cabin
June: first solo backpacking trip of the year, swam in a glacier fed lake and did some more paddle boarding and swimming
July: lots of day hikes, wildflowers and beach days
August: more hiking and many backpacking trips
September: visited Vancouver island, the Canadian Rockies and went on my last backpacking trip of the season
October: went on a solo road trip to the Kootenay’s, did lots of larch hiking, seen the northern lights and visited another hot spring
November: a snowy getaway to the Rockies
December: a trip to Banff/Canmore and caught the Christmas train at home!

Night shots from this unique cabin built off the side off a rock 🌌✨💫

This cabin called the Shire, is definitely one of the most unique spots I have stayed. This off grid cabin is small, but the most coziest stay. It’s suspended off the mountain side on the face of a rock and built out of recycled materials! It has the most amazing window view- perfect for stargazing, watching the sunrise/set, watch deer pass by and enjoy the incredible mountain views. They have two other cabins just as unique and I already can’t wait to go back!
