I'm 25 years old, originally from Manitoulin Island, ON but currently living in Sudbury, ON. I've always loved social media, design, planning, and getting to be creative - which I was lucky enough to turn into a career! In 2021 I graduated from Nipissing University with a Bachelor's of Business Administration specializing in Marketing and Human Resources. Most recently, I completed my Graduate Cer

tificate in Community and Social Services Management in 2023. During my degree, I decided to take on some freelance projects for local businesses that might not be looking to hire a full-time marketing professional. I loved getting to know many different businesses and organizations, but stepped back to focus on completing my schooling. I have experience with Wix web design/maintenance, social media management (including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Pinterest), content creation/design, Shopify, MailChimp email marketing, and more. I specialize in maintaining an online presence for small businesses, community organizations, and non-profits, which is more important than ever in the digital age. My name is Carolyn Glasby, and I am a student currently pursing a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) specializing in Marketing at Nipissing University in North Bay, Ontario. As a small town girl from Manitoulin Island, I’ve watched a lot change in Northern Ontario over the past few years.
