From Scholar to Story Weaver: The Enchanting Journey of Charlene

Charlene Carr is the youngest of four children and the only girl. Living in a house full of boys taught her to fight for what she wants and to always reach higher (you have to when everyone in your family towers above you). She spent much of her childhood creating elaborate, multi-faceted storylines for her dolls and reading under the blankets with a flashlight when she was supposed to be asleep.

I recently paid a visit to Thelma Richard (second from left, accompanied by her sister and daughter) of Moncton who has been a longtime volunteer in the community and someone who has given so much of her life to the causes she holds dear without receiving nearly enough recognition.

Thank you Thelma for being a pillar of our community and even though you`re used to being more in the background, I thought today I`d give you your share of the spotlight!

J'ai récemment rendu visite à Thelma Richard (deuxième à partir de la gauche, accompagnée de sa sœur et de sa fille), de Moncton, qui est une bénévole de longue date au sein de la communauté et qui a consacré une grande partie de sa vie aux causes qui lui tiennent à cœur, sans recevoir suffisamment de reconnaissance.
