Leroy Calvin Billy

It is with great sadness we advise of the passing of Leroy Calvin Billy. He was born to his mother Melva Lynne Billy & late father Robert Philipe Billy on October 31, 1977, in Squamish General Hospital, BC. Leroy grew up in St’a7mes(Stawamus IR no 24), and Wiwk’em (Waiwakum IR no 14) Squamish, BC. He attended Howe Sound Secondary School, and BCIT. Leroy was with his spouse Karla for over 20 years! He spent his days working for Enviro-Vac - asbestos and decontamination services. They had four daughters who were the light of his life. Leroy will best be remembered for how fiercely he loved and supported his family.

Leroy is survived by his loving mother Melva Billy; spouse Karla Lesosky; daughters Kayci-Billie Lesosky, Madyson Billy, Jesi-Lynne Billy, Tailar Billy; siblings Laurel Marcotte, Robert P. Billy, Rebecca Billy, Joshua Billy and many loving relatives and dear friends.

Stee-Aye-Edin Baker
Sunrise: February 27, 1979 - Sunset: June 19, 2022

It is with great sadness we advise of the passing of Stee-Aye-Edin Baker on June 19, 2022 at home in West Vancouver surrounded by love of family. Stee as he was affectionately known, was born to his parents Glenda Klassen (nee: Delorme) & Late Terrence Richard Baker on February 27, 1979, at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver, BC. He grew up on Xwmélch’tstn (Capilano IR No. 5). He attended Norgate Elementary; Carson Graham Secondary School; Keith Lynn Alternate School; and Construction at Squamish Nation Trade Centre. Stee was a handsome man with lots of love in his heart; he loved his mom and texted her every day. He was a proud father and loved his kids deeply. He was a quiet observer of people and the world around him. Stee was funny, kind, helpful, and dependable man that never had a bad word to say about anybody. He enjoyed being active and he played and watched all kinds of sports. He excelled at lacrosse and played with the North Shore Indians, Coquitlam Adenacs and Langley Knights.

Stee is survived by his mother Glenda Klassen(Darryl); siblings Jordon Seward, Tishia-Gail Baker(Brandon), Simon Baker, Kalum Baker, Cedarus Isaac-Baker, Sophia Isaac-Baker; children Steedin DaSilva-Baker, Sedar DaSilva-Baker; Citana August-Baker; aunts and uncles Lesley Bennett, Lance A. Baker(Lei), Frank C. Baker, Beatrice Baker, Brenda Y. Baker, Bill Baker(Elva), Kathy Baker(Ned), Cynthia E. ‘Cindy’ Baker(David), Sonny Baker, Andrea Delorme, Lugene Delorme, Janice Delorme, Steve Delorme, and many, many loving relatives and dear friends.
