A big thank you to the students who put up with me for a few hours this afternoon as we talked about my experiences in the backcountry. What a great program they have with health and wellness as they incorporate time in the backcountry with outdoor leadership. We all know that time in the woods and in the mountains is good for our mental and physical health. It's amazing to see students who want a career in this field acknowledge the benefits of what we all know! What an amazing day :-).

So grateful to have been invited to speak at today to an amazing group of students learning about how the outdoors can help us with our health and wellness and mental health. Specifically - in this class about outdoor leadership and bringing others to the same place. So inspired and so grateful as it aligns with my goal of getting more of you into the outdoors and the backcountry.
