Say BYE to those unfollows 👋
You don't want followers who aren't interested in your content. Point blank.
Followers who don’t want to see your content and therefore don’t ever engage are lowering your engagement.
What you want are followers who love your content, engage with your posts, and support you 💌
Here's the deal:
If someone unfollows you, it's likely because your content doesn't resonate with them. That's okay! Use it to figure out your target audience.
Only worry about unfollows if it’s impacting your engagement. If you're losing followers, engagement, and not attracting the right audience, it's time to reassess.

Not sure if your bio is up to date? Let’s break it down ⤵
Your bio should answer these key questions:
✨What are you offering or providing?
✨Who are you servicing? lLocation or service based)
✨Where do you want them to go?
Make sure you have a call-to-action to explicitly tell your audience where to go, you want to be very clear and direct!

If you’re struggling with engagement, it may be because your content is boring 🫣
Try and add a bit more personality, and add in calls-to-action, and see if you notice a difference!
Don’t just do it for one post, try and consistently add in CTAs and THEN track your analytics to see if there’s an overall upward trend.

I had my personal account taken down for ‘impersonation’ in 2021, and it was one of the biggest nightmares to navigate without having access to real human support.
For $14.99 a month, it’s worth it if your Instagram account is a core marketing and/or sales pillar for your business.
It’s not available yet in Canada, but if you’re in the United States, Australia or New Zealand, DO IT!
I’m crossing my fingers it will become available in Canada soon!!

Hashtags are still a useful tool to get your content in front the right audience, but adding them is not going to instantly increase your engagement.
Hashtags add context to your posts so Instagram knows what your posts are about, and can push them to the right people.
They've suggested using only 3-5 hashtags per post, so put some extra thought into which ones you use!
