Volumes 1 & 2 of The Life and Times of the Comox Valley books
soon available through Indigo Books & Music Inc
The land of plenty has evermore to share. The long popular first volume of "The Life and Times of the Comox Valley" covered the valley’s prehistory and history to 1997. Newly published Volume 2 picks up where the first left off. More than two decades’ worth of new images, noteworthy happenings and events appear in this update of life in the valley.
Volume 1 of the title was on the local bestseller list several times, eventually reaching the top spot. Jayne MacAulay's CARP News review advised readers,“Read this book before you move to or visit the area and everyone will take you for a local.” In a Comox Valley Record review local writer Paula Wild wrote the “book is informative and readable.” Volume 2 adds further to knowledge and soon both will be available through Indigo bookstores.
They are found in many Vancouver Island bookstores - Laughing Oyster in Courtenay, The Blue Heron in Comox, Mid Island Gifts at Comox Valley airport and Munro’s Books in Victoria.
