Honouring our Veterans with Mr. and Mrs. McNamara (104 and 102 years old)
Mr. and Mrs. McNamara both served in the Second World War. They were married after the war and have been with each other since. They will be sharing memorable stories in this touching tribute to our veterans.

Honouring our Veterans with MP for Lac-Saint-Louis Francis Scarpaleggia.
Mr. Scarpaleggia will be joining me in studio. He has been a strong supporter of our veterans throughout his career. We will also be discussing a couple of valuable federal programs including support for caregivers as well as the Canada Summer Jobs Program.

Advanced Request for Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID)
Dr. Georges L’Espérance will be joining me to discuss the controversial new provincial law that recently went into effect allowing an advanced request for Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) including people with certain serious illnesses, such as Alzheimer's disease. Dr. L’Espérance is a retired neurosurgeon and a MAID provider. He is also the president of l’Association québécoise pour le droit de mourir dans la dignité (AQDMD) right here in Quebec.

Innovative Mobile App to Test for Dementia
Dr. Ziad Nasreddine will be joining me in studio. Dr. Nasreddine is the creator and founder of the world renowned Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) test. This is a rapid screening instrument for mild cognitive dysfunction. The MoCA Clinic has recently launched an innovative mobile app to test for mild cognitive dysfunction. We are going to hear all about a potential game changer called Xpresso MoCA.

Sept. 21 is World Alzheimer's Day. Caregiver and dementia specialist, Claire Webster, will be joining me to discuss her personal carving journey with her mother who had Alzheimer's. Karl Subban, PK's dad, will be joining me once again on our traditional Father's Day special.

A Tribute to Dad
Zander Masser's father passed away in 2000 due to AIDS. He had hemophilia and he was part of the blood scandal in which he received contaminated blood with HIV. Mr. Masser was a professional photographer. Following his death, Zander found over 10,000 pictures and slides in the family basement. He created a book in 2022 called "Unburying My Father", a tribute to his dad and Zander's personal journey to cope with his death.

Keeping It Safe at Home
In real life, Zander is a respected occupational therapist that performs home safety assessments. We will be sharing valuable tips to keep a safe environment at home in order to age in place longer and safely.

The Canadian Centre for Men and Families
Justin Trottier, Founder and CEO of the Canadian Centre for Men and Families, will be joining me. This organization is dedicated to supporting men, fathers, and families through services like therapy, legal aid, and fathering programs.
