Father's Day with Karl Subban
Karl Subban, PK's dad, will be joining me once again on our traditional Father's Day special.

A Tribute to Dad
Zander Masser's father passed away in 2000 due to AIDS. He had hemophilia and he was part of the blood scandal in which he received contaminated blood with HIV. Mr. Masser was a professional photographer. Following his death, Zander found over 10,000 pictures and slides in the family basement. He created a book in 2022 called "Unburying My Father", a tribute to his dad and Zander's personal journey to cope with his death.

Keeping It Safe at Home
In real life, Zander is a respected occupational therapist that performs home safety assessments. We will be sharing valuable tips to keep a safe environment at home in order to age in place longer and safely.

The Canadian Centre for Men and Families
Justin Trottier, Founder and CEO of the Canadian Centre for Men and Families, will be joining me. This organization is dedicated to supporting men, fathers, and families through services like therapy, legal aid, and fathering programs. Established in 2014, they also conduct research, host public education and awareness activities, and work to improve public policies to better support all Canadians.

June 15 is Elder Abuse Awareness Day. Ann Soden is one of the leading elder law lawyers in the country. Dr. Stefanie Green, one of Canada's leading experts on MAID, will be joining me on the show to discuss the growing popularity of MAID. We will also be discussing the controversial legislation that was recently passed in Quebec concerning Advanced Request for MAID which includes neurodegenerative diseases such as dementia - the first of its kind in Canada. Dr. Green is the Founding President of the Canadian Association of MAiD Assessors and Providers (CAMAP) and was co-lead of the Canadian MAID Curriculum Project . She is medical advisor to the BC Ministry of Health MAID oversight committee, clinical faculty at the University of British Columbia and the University of Victoria, and is author of the best-selling book This is Assisted Dying - a memoir of her first year providing MAID in Canada.

A new video series from the McGill Dementia Education Program and the School of Physical and Occupational Therapy showcases activities for caregivers to do with those living with dementia. Joining me to speak about the initiative and the importance of encouraging a person living with dementia to engage in activities that they enjoy will be occupational therapist, Dr. Marie-Eve Bolduc.

Dr. Rolando Del Maestro is the retired Director of the Neurosurgery Simulation Research and Training Centre at the Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital at McGill University. His research is leading the way in surgical simulation using the NeuroTouch platform. He is also one of the founders of the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada. Interestingly, Dr. Del Maestro has a passion for Leonardo Da Vinci. He possesses one of the largest private collections of materials related to Da Vinci.
