Happy New Year!

It's a new year and a new adventure for us. Sea level Sound is closing its doors and what better way to wrap up than to focus on our last major project--recording a few tunes by our resident house band, Double Jim and Tonic!

There are more good memories of the people and their songs who have come our way than we ever imagined in the 11 years since we opened our studio in Eureka, Nova Scotia. We are just as impressed with the musical community in Pictou County as we were when we first set up shop and we so appreciate your willingness to welcome us and trust us with your music.

We wish all of us the best in 2025 and we look forward to hearing what the new year brings for you, just as we hope you'll stay with us here on Facebook to see what happens next for us.

Learning something new every day, we had a grand piper, Mr. Harold MacDonnell in the studio today. Ever the professional, his skills helped ease the challenges that come with recording bagpipes! It was a good day and so nice for his family to always be able to have such a treasured recording.

Not often we're found doing live sound. Stepping in with some last minute help at an outdoor show complete with high winds and torrential downpours was................interesting.

But the turnout for Sam Moon in Merigomish this afternoon was great and the crowd jammed in under the tent and loved every minute of it.

80s Rock was in the air last night in Eureka, Nova Scotia.

Certainly one of the busiest bands in Pictou County, Dirty Rokkin Scoundrels were in the live room getting ready for Fackered Fest.

Back together for this year's Pictou Lobster Carnival, the Fuzz Petals worked on their playlist up in the live room-as cool as ever. (we have Air Conditioning😎) Busy week for us as the summer gigs keep on coming and bands are working hard to put on some great shows!
