I hit my first rank in Seint! This is a pretty darn big deal to me because when I started in October, I knew NOTHING about makeup. Now, I’m helping women simplify their makeup routine become more confident!

Today is my first fastball game of the year! I am so excited to be back playing after taking a two year hiatus!

Fastball has always played a huge part in my life. My dad taught me everything I know about the game and made me the pitcher I am today. I wish he could be in the dugout along side me this season, but I know he's watching from above. This seasons for you dad!

Today's Motivational Monday quote is very near and dear to my heart.

If you knew my dad, you knew that he was a very positive person. He always had a big grin on his face and never took life too seriously. He was the first to offer support and always had a way of making me feel better.

When he was diagnosed with cancer, he was determined not to let it stop him. Instead of being angry or giving up, he chose to look at it as a positive- that cancer gave him the gift of time. Time to slow down and spend with his family and friends and to do things that he enjoyed like farming and fishing.

Two years ago, my dad lost his battle with cancer. I miss him dearly and my heart will always ache. Today is his birthday, so on hard days like this, I'm letting myself feel all the feels and choosing to smile, just like he would want me to!
