We're honoured to read this shout out about The Makers and Shakers Society from Britt Wray, the author of the wise and thoughtful book Generation Dread. “The Makers and Shakers Society from Clarke Mackey delighted me this week. It’s a serialized drama that tells the story of young activists today figuring out the climate apocalypse of tomorrow, told retrospectively, with lots of love and youthful drama woven in...could not love it more...For those who want to be swept away into another person’s imagination for how to share human experience in a warming world filled with political turbulence, it is worth a listen.”

Published by Environment and Climate Change Canada in 2019, Canada’s Changing Climate Report (CCCR) provides an overview of how and why Canada has been impacted by environmental issues as part of the consequences of Climate Change over the years. Moreover, it then compares its results to the updated report Climate Change 2021: The Physical Science Basis by The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).

An example of their findings is that “human influence is the main driver of observed warming over Canada. Mean temperatures across Canada are projected to continue to increase, with the larger changes associated with higher emission scenarios and thus greater increases in global mean temperature” (CCCR 2022).
