🙋♀️Hi! Petra here, the founder of JPS. I wanted to share a vulnerable/personal story about why I chose to make this part of our mission and the way we work with clients at JPS.👇🏻
When I was in my early twenties I began to realize that I had a huge passion for creating content (I’m now 31) But, I quickly got sucked into the follower trap.
I loved creating content, but after some time, I realized I was also doing it from a place of wanting to achieve more followers.
When I realized how obsessed I was becoming with the process of growing a following and how much mental space this was taking up daily, I went inward to think more deeply about why and it all had to do with filling my ego and with the hopes it would make me feel more confident.
After taking a bit of a step back for a few months so I could refocus my energy into working on where this was stemming from internally…I also realized I wasn’t the only one who struggled with this toxic belief in the social media world.
So after lots of self development work over the years, I knew that this was something I needed to be very cautious of when starting a business in social media but this also became a HUGE driving force in how I wanted to support and make an impact with others in this industry.
As a creator or online business owner, our mindset has a HUGE impact on our results, so if you’re consistently chasing followers and views , you'll easily forget to create from an authentic place and never truly achieve happiness during the process.
Now I can say that I TRULY have lost attachment to my results. I create from a TRUE place of PURPOSE and for the love of creating content for both myself and for clients.
Of course, we love to support our clients by creating content that reaches people all over the world, but we also want to make a real impact by shifting this toxic belief that society has made us believe about followers. 🤍☁️
