Supported by Canadian Artist Jerry Leger (a well established Toronto musician who has toured with Ron Sexsmith, the Sadies and Justin Townes Earle), Steve Earle took the Grand Theatre audience on a musical journey spanning his 21 studio albums. Earle is a true storyteller, both through his songs and his descriptions of how they came to be. Honouring the memories of his late son Justin Townes Earle, as well as legendary songwriters Townes Van Zandt and Guy Clarke, Earle shared stories and songs that inspired him. The sold-out audience had plenty to say, often shouting out their favourite song titles or just stating their support but Earle kept rolling, pointing out “I’ve got this”

Last week I spent the day with Shanique & Shenel at the grand theatre documenting the product of their hard work for the Local Arts Residencies, and they truly inspired me, they created an amazing dance piece, so beautiful, that you will be able to see at the GroundUp festival this weekend. Please go see it ♥️

ICYMI; Presented by in cellar:

Hellrager () returned to The Mansion for the second time in a fortnight, this time supported by Sweetleaf ()& Arachnia () . Arachnia opened the night with a fire and ferocity that had the crowd immediately drawn into the heavy metal frenzy. Sweetleaf followed up with a rock-solid set that kept the vibes going strong for the final act. Hellrager pummeled the crowd from the first note until the last with a high energy set of in your face metal.
