Are you an introvert? Have you ever felt underestimated or overlooked for roles that are traditionally thought of as extroverted?

My TEDx is is out today I’m grateful for the opportunity to talk the implications of stereotyping introverts into non sales, non speaking, non leadership roles.

The following steps really help a talk get seen by more people:

👉Watch to the end (if you’re like me, and you have a hard time staring at a screen, put your phone down and do something else while you listen). The YouTube algorithm penalizes partial watches, so don’t watch it unless you’re gonna watch the whole thing 😬

👉Leave a comment on YouTube

👉Share if it resonated for you

https://youtu.be/OcjiS55oUSQ?si=C7u6bGB6d2UYQP3U

NOTE FROM TED: This talk only represents the speaker's personal views and understanding of personality and the brain. TEDx events are independently organized...

Host turned interviewee again.

Engineers are often stereotyped as being introverts. Working on a design project, this can be a strength, but when it comes to business development--which is often critical to moving up in the firm--they may struggle. I got to be the interviewee instead of the interviewer last week to chat about my book.

What a great podcast! I encourage you to check it out if you are interested in managing your time more productively. POWER Productivity

I was thrilled to speak to Monica J Parkin on today's podcast episode about her new book, "Overcoming Awkward: The Introvert's Guide to Networking, Marketing, and Sales".

Monica impresses me with her ability to get things done AND find joy in the process.

So many great nuggets in her book about building relationships, connecting with your authentic self and following your passion...

(All key ingredients in creating more peaceful productivity!)

Whether you identify as introvert or an extrovert (or both!!), if you are looking to build more authentic connections with yourself and others, then this is the episode for you! ❤️
