WISHING YOU ALL A HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND A MAGICAL NEW YEAR 🎄🌟
Here's to cocooning and sipping tea!
No matter the holiday/s you celebrate this time of year, it is often an opportunity to pause, reflect, and consider what your next year will look like. What your values are. Your goals. How you will bring them to life in 2022.
I hope your next year is filled with love and joy, peace and health, and all those other good things that flutter our hearts.
☕ For me, I'll be making more time for tea.
I mean this as prioritizing wellness in myself and others, and taking time and care... above all things. That is, living with patience and cultivating a life in line with my own values, joys, and boundaries.
But also, specifically, making time for creativity and play... I realize I have been setting that aside over the last few months in the quest for the traditional sense of practicality (under capitalism.) And yet any time I have ever stifled creativity and let practicality win over, I have time and time again found that the illusion of "practical" isn't ever really, truly practical.
In the trade off, what we commonly view as practical has only ever resulted in less for me - less money, time, energy, health, or some other vital thing lost along the way when creativity is stifled.
So, my Christmas wish is that you also consider how you might be able to incorporate creativity and play into your life in the New Year... even if it's only just a smidge.
Make time for tea, if you will! ☕☕☕
Speaking of tea, this "tisane du terroir Quebecois" was a thoughtful gift from my mother-in-law, made by the folks at Floralie in Saint-Alexis-des-Monts, Quebec.
Check this stellar herb blend: PINE, SPRUCE, lemon thyme, mallow flower, mullein, coltsfoot, poppy, and hyssop. It like drinking an entire frickin' garden! 🌿🌼🍃🌺
