After saying "I do" in 2013, Tammy began her journey in the world of stepparenting. Juggling the struggles of being a stepmommy with the pressures of blended family life, Tammy was ready to step away from it all, including her marriage. However, with the help of personal therapy, marriage counseling, prayer and new founded confidence, Tammy found the strength to continue on in her truth. While healing and re-discovering herself, Stepmom Goals, LLC was unleashed. Focused on helping other stepmothers in their own escapades, Tammy is determined to help stepmoms and bonus moms to adjust their crowns daily. Currently, Tammy J is preparing for the release of her first children's book, Mama T and Me! She also has a stepmom affirmation journal coming soon. On December 1st, We celebrated the anniversary of the launch of Plus HER Journey. Plus HER Journey is about supporting, uplifting and encouraging stepmoms along their journey. I share the stories of real Stepmoms on the Plus HER - A Stepmom's Journey podcast to give an insight of the reality of step parenting and to change the evil stepmom narrative one story at a time.

As a black mother raising 2 black sons, stories of innocent black people losing their lives to police brutality hits different now. Horrific stories continue to come to light, leaving me emotionally drained and feeling helpless but now is not the time to lose momentum in fighting for justice and equality.

These are historic times. The voices of black people need to be heard. Our stories need to be shared. Hear our cry.
Black Lives Matter is not a trend. It’s not a cute slogan or a catchy saying. It’s the truth. It’s our plea. It’s our demand for justice.

Stop killing our children.
