Tips on how to how to easily refresh your home in affordable way!
* Hang art on that wall that fits into that section of the room. I use gallery wall layouts when hanging smaller pieces on my walls.
* Use Throw Pillows as much as possible.
* Use a rug in almost every room.
* Group your decorations when decorating a shelf. I always use the rule of three decorations together in a small area.
* Don’t be afraid to display family photos in your home.
* Use table lamps as much as you can.
* Decorate an accent wall. Accent walls can be done by painting wall, using wallpaper, or using shiplap or pallet wood.
* Get new light fixtures they make a huge difference in a room and can be a statement piece.
* Use throw blankets on the back of your couch or accent chairs to warm up a space.
* Put matching end tables on the sides of your couch.
* Make sure you have a blanket ladder or a decorative bucket to display blankets.
* Decorate your kitchen countertops with decorations that are pretty but you can also use such as, a jar filled with k cups, a nice looking bread box to hold your loafs of bread.
* Find bedding that you really love that is soft, cozy, and pretty look look at.
* Use layers with your bedding.
* Keep your nightstands clutter free, I keep everything in my nightstand drawer that way my nightstand only has a few small decorations on it along with my lamp.
* Keep a decorative bin to put your kids toys in that way you don’t have toys everywhere in your living room
* Take a Saturday morning trip around the neighborhood to do some yard selling. I have found some of my favorite decorations and furniture from yard sales.
* Change out the hardware on your kitchen cabinets. You wouldn’t believe the huge difference that one small thing makes.
* Find affordable prints to hang in your home. You can print out your own digital prints that are cheap and hang them up in your living room.
* Always look for a unique shower curtain for your bathroom because it is the centerpiece of a bathroom. I searched for months until I found a fun one that look great in my guest bathroom.

I think gallery walls are one of the most popular ways to fill large blank walls . There are so many different ways to hang your gallery walls to make a statement and add a personal touch. This is a great project for anyone to showcase their favourite images displayed throughout their home.

You ready?
In EVERY SINGLE home that I work with you will most likely find these key tips!

1 – So first of all you will notice how much I love a big headboard in every bedroom. The bed is the main focal point in every room. So you’ll see I really make sure your eye is drawn to a unique bed.
2 – Benches look great at the end of the bed. They are great for sitting to put your shoes on in the morning, but they also look gorgeous as a small piece of furniture in your room.
3 – Vintage antique books are my go to decoration. I uses them in all over the home. Vintage books are so gorgeous right now stacked up or turned backwards so you see the old pages of the books.
4 – Throw pillows are ALWAYS used on every bed. Layers are a good thing. You’ll notice I usually put a throw blanket on the end of every bed.
5 – While decorating the wall over the bed I use an even number of decorations.
6 – Faux plants, real plants, flowers, or some type of greenery is a must. I actually love the look of faux plants and the best part is you can’t kill them. I am the absolute worst at remembering to water my plants. So fake plants are my best friend when it comes to bringing color into my home.
7 – I love unique accent chairs. You can’t go wrong with a pretty chair or 2 to fill up some space in your room. So there you have it! Some of my best kept secrets and tips for staging your home or just a simple update! X x x
