Our Story

Toronto Moon Magazine is a digital magazine about the GTA/Ontario music scene published daily by Gary 17. It began as a free hard copy monthly publication in 1992, initially known as ‘The Open Season’ for its first year (specializing in covering jams and open stages) then as ‘to-nite’ covering the GTA music scene bi-weekly and eventually weekly from 1993 through till 2010. In 2010 the publication again increased in frequency, switched to a subscriber-funded model, and became ‘Toronto Moon’. In 2013 we went to daily publishing as TorontoMoon.ca in 2013. In addition to receiving full access to all areas of the webite, subscribers also receive all post content delivered via email in advance of any postings on social media. For more details email [email protected].
