When we started New Leaf Media in 2020, we had no idea just how much the Bracebridge community would mean to me- and, in turn, what I could do for them!

Since 2020, we have been involved with many community initiatives and have been able to donate over $10,000 worth of services to local organizations!

Last summer, we volunteered on the committee for the first-ever off-reserve Powwow in Muskoka. We donated an all-encompassing website and graphic design—including two 30-foot banners, logos, all print and copy, photography, and drone footage for the day of.

We are currently volunteering at the YWCA Muskoka Women of Distinction Awards Gala. We have donated a headshot session to each nominee, graphic design for table numbers and a new step-and-repeat banner for the YWCA to use for years to come. Oh, and we have planned and will decorate the event!

Less on the business side and more a personal feat- We helped rescue over 20 outdoor cats from the cold! In November, we noticed a considerable colony of cats on vacant land. We rallied the community and worked with rescues to get fixed and rehomed. We helped raise over $1000 for those cats! Heather Rennie (Feral Tails Cat Rescue!)

And that is just the tip of the iceberg. We've also been able to work with other amazing local businesses Bees Knees Muskoka (Fyonna Vanderwerf), Rotary Club of Bracebridge, Santa's Village, Postech Muskoka, Cottage Rescue, and EDGE 3 to name a few!

Did you catch that? We’ve donated our time doing headshots and graphic design to the YWCA for the Women of Distinction awards gala happening this weekend!

It’s been great being on the committee to help plan the gala and to work with the amazing ladies at the YWCA!
