An important heads up from Alberta Fish and Game Association for our Alberta hunting friends!

Meningeal worm (P. tenuis) has been confirmed in northeast Alberta. While white-tailed deer can carry it with little effect, it can be deadly for species like moose, elk, mule deer, and caribou.
